Ouija is 16.3H and 12 years old.  He is a lovely imported
Oldenburg with an outstanding show career in A rated
Hunters and Equitation. He has a modern build and has
classic hunter style. Huge stride, floating movement and just
plain gorgeous!   He would be ideal for the timid woman or
child wanting a MADE Hunter that loves his job and will go
out and win AND take care of his rider!  He is quiet, simple,
sweet and HONEST!  And as lovely on the outside as on the
inside! Long, elegant neck, typey head and expressive eye.
Ouija has no vices, he is dependable and has remained
consistently sound throughout his show career.
Ouija is a lover and is a perfect gentleman in all ways. Loves
to be groomed, bathed, stands to be clipped and for farrier. He
even keeps a very clean stall! Just a really easy guy to have in
the barn.
He has SUPERB automatic changes, lovely cadenced canter
and excellent jump...His only flaw is that he can be a bit lazy.
He really loves to show and is as simple and uncomplicated
as they come! Ouija is available to an approved home only.

Since then, he has been sold 3 times as a riding horse!  I
caught wind of it and called the person currently trying to
sell him and was able to get him back.  He is 150lbs off his
weight, feet in terrible condition, rain rot and bite
marks....but his spirit is good and he is obviously happy
to be back here!

Several of you have asked me what needs the farm
currently has...  If any of you would like to help with his
care, any amount would be appreciated and tax
deductible.  He will live out the remainder of his
years here on our farm.

I want to send this out as a warning to anyone
thinking of giving their horse away, even when
it appears a good home.
You cannot be too careful.
Today, in the horse industry, SO much of this is
happening right now, it makes me heart sick.  This will
be the LAST horse I will adopt out.  I have seen too
much.

This is
Chip.    He was a tremendous Western Pleasure
youth horse that developed navicular several years ago
and then terribly neglected.  We rescued him  from a
horrible situation, put him back to good health
and adopted him out to a home who "promised"
(signed contracts) to keep and care for him and not ride
him.  That was less than a year ago.
Amy's Orphaned Foal - One week old now!
Chip- One month later!

Lovely 16.2H Bay gelding that has done Children's
Hunters. He is quiet, well trained, 14 years old.  Good
ground manners, sweet, but has a slight inconsistency to
his gait.  He does not seem to get worse with riding but
we would like to see him go to a home for trails or arena
work, not a show home.  He has a lot of good years left
and is a lovely horse.  Any reasonable offer to good home.
Charles is a SUPER SWEET, quiet, 17H gray TB that is
only 6 years old. He has had a stifle injury and has not
fully recovered so he will need someone that is willing
to wait it out and see how he does or someone looking
for a wonderfully personable pasture mate. Charles
has no vices or bad habits and nice ground manners.
Charles is available to an excellent home for a small
adoption fee.
Aveda- 16.2 Hand Chestnut Mare

Aveda, daughter of Alpenstern, is an absolute dream in
every way!  She is truly stunning, outstanding bloodlines,
VERY correct, sweet, quiet, simple and 100% sound. Under
saddle, Aveda is very soft, supple, responsive and willing .
Her quiet and patient personality make her an absolute
pleasure!  She has training in dressage and also experience as
a Hunter. Aveda naturally wants to ride in a low, relaxed
frame...but she will collect for dressage work as well. Super
simple over fences. EXCELLENT on trails, will easily go out
alone or in a group with the same quiet and pleasant attitude
regardless of if she is in front or in the rear of the ride. Never
gets excited, even galloping over hills and fences on a hunter
pace! I really can't say enough good about this horse! She is
very fancy and eye catching. Her walk is powerful with a big
step and lots of reach from behind, big and beautiful trot that
is so rhythmic and easy to ride, lovely and balanced canter!
She has always been ridden in a correct and balanced way.
No vices, No health issues, no injections, easy in the barn,
wonderful manners, loads, bathes, stands for farrier, clips,
very good in new places. A really fun, one in a million type
of horse! She was rated premium mare at the Oldenburg
inspection!
