Tren is a lovely 11 yr old, 16.1 H. gelding that my good friend
Michelle has raised from a  5 months old colt.  He has some show
experience, is very versatile, goes English or western and has tons of
trail experience!  She has taken him everywhere!  He is absolutely the
sweetest horse!  Never know anything but kindness and love.  Even
drinks soda from a can! He is the one in a million for the person
who wants fancy, reliable, sane, sound and a lifetime companion!  He
would obviously do great as a Hunter and is a natural! Tren is a true
confidence builder for the timid trail rider and would be ideal for the
mature lady or child who must have a  trustworthy horse.  No vices,
no bad habits, no soundness issues or health problems.

It breaks her heart to let him go and will sell to approved home only.

Raffi ~This strikingly beautiful crossbred mare is 5 years old (you
would never know it by how quiet and sensible she is) 16.1 Hands,
Big boned and Gorgeous! She has a wonderful, sweet and willing
personality, VERY VERSATILE, and is a lovely mover. She is elegant
and eye catching in the dressage ring or going as a Hunter... Soft in
the bridle and attentive to seat and leg, but an easy ride for the
amateur because of her quiet and patient attitude. Not a complicated
ride at all! Also she would do well in Eventing or Combined
Training.  She schooled several beginner novice x-c jumps including
ditch, bank, small water comples -- no problem!  Dressage show
experience.

She is Cute, Quiet & Simple over fences.   She LOVES trail riding
and has comfortable gaits.  Doesn't mind going out alone or in a
group, and is not spooky. Raffi is truly an enjoyable horse in all
aspects!  She has great ground manners and is very respectful, loves
grooming and attention, is 100% sound, (excellent bone and feet)
with no health issues or history of health issues, and NO vices.
Currently barefoot. Would even work as a husband horse! She is a
very special mare!  If you are tired of lameness issues, complicated
horses and just want something you can enjoy and bond with as well
as being competitive in the show ring, you may want to consider
Raffi.

Since then, he has been sold 3 times as a riding horse!  I
caught wind of it and called the person currently trying to
sell him and was able to get him back.  He is 150lbs off his
weight, feet in terrible condition, rain rot and bite
marks....but his spirit is good and he is obviously happy
to be back here!

Several of you have asked me what needs the farm
currently has...  If any of you would like to help with his
care, any amount would be appreciated and tax
deductible.  He will live out the remainder of his
years here on our farm.

I want to send this out as a warning to anyone
thinking of giving their horse away, even when
it appears a good home.
You cannot be too careful.
Today, in the horse industry, SO much of this is
happening right now, it makes me heart sick.  This will
be the LAST horse I will adopt out.  I have seen too
much.

This is
Chip.    He was a tremendous Western Pleasure
youth horse that developed navicular several years ago
and then terribly neglected.  We rescued him  from a
horrible situation, put him back to good health
and adopted him out to a home who "promised"
(signed contracts) to keep and care for him and not ride
him.  That was less than a year ago.
Amy's Orphaned Foal - One week old now!
Chip- One month later!
